Seda's Biography
“I’ve had a full and rich life and feel it’s my turn to give back”. This best defines Seda’s second act bio, to be in service. Her first act, after receiving a BS degree from University of Santa Clara in Santa Clara, CA, included working in the corporate tax departments of several Fortune 500 companies, including AMD and McGraw-Hill, Inc.; Founder/CEO/Chairman of the Board of a venture backed web based software company, Planitax, Inc.; designer/builder/proprietor of the top-rated Costa Rican vacation resort, Villa Perezoso and a life coach to many.
Why I love sloths
I am a HUGE sloth fan. From the moment I saw my first sloth in the trees on the grounds of the home we were building in Costa Rica I knew that not only did I need to name our villa after the sloth (perezoso) but I had to help facilitate global awareness of the sloth to ensure their conservation. I love sloths because they are quiet, slow moving and precious with their young. Their movements remind me of tai-chi practitioners; I think they are some of the most beautiful animals I have witnessed. And…. I believe they, more than many other animals, are very in touch with and connected to their environment.
