Humpty Dumpty is a baby 3-fingered sloth that was found on the ground in shock and dying. TSI’s sloth response team came to the rescue and was able to bring him back from the brink of death.
It was a miracle that he survived the first night. However, he seems to have neurological issues, including a head tilt and weird movements. We determined he needed a CT scan which revealed everything his tiny body suffered: Multiple head fractures, a hip fracture and contusions in his brain and lungs.
As terrible as his injuries sound, he is showing us that he isn’t giving up and he wants to live. With expert medical treatments and extra TLC, he has started eating and wanting to be active!
His prognosis is very good so long as he continues to heal well from these traumas…every day he seems a little stronger.
We named him Humpty Dumpty because his body broke in so many places, but he seems to be putting himself back together again…with our help of course. This little guy is a fighter!
The medical care he needs is costly. Humpty Dumpty needs your help.
